New feature? Content of LDAP Groups imported when repository

I just set up a 1.0.1 server using BlueGroups. I was surprised when I
logged in to see all of the members of the associated BlueGroups had
already been imported. I suspect this is something new in 1.0.1?

Brian,

Are you using a old database ?

We do have a LDAP nightly sync task (added in 1.0) that syncs the LDAP information and data present in Jazz repository. By default, it runs every day at 1AM. The frequency can be configured using LDAP nightly sync task fixed delay configuration property. Can you check the value of the property. It should be set to 86400.

Balaji, This was a brand new 1.0.1 repository set up from scratch. I can

only figure that when I started the RTC server for the first time, it
actually imported the users listed in my mapped (JazzUsers, etc.) LDAP
groups. Does that make sense?

The following URL displays all the changes made by ldap nightly sync. It also displays the time a user is imported / updated.

https://serverName:9443/jazz/service/com.ibm.team.repository.common.internal.IFeedService?provider=ldapnightlysync
