Auto sensing the need to re-build

Adrian Daniels (6312120) | asked Nov 12 '08, 7:34 a.m.
Hi,

Is it possible in RTC Build to get it to "sense" for a change to a component and initiate a request for a build without the need to setup a scheduled task ?
Or must all continuous builds be triggered from the scheduler ?

Cheers,
Adrian

At this time the only way is to use the schedule associated with the build
definition.

It is not clear to me what you are asking for.

If you go to the Schedule tab of the build definition, you can set a
continuous interval for 1 minute. Then go to the Jazz Source Control tab and
check "Build only if there are changes accepted"

This way, you will get a build only if there are changes and it will check
for changes every minute.
