Can you specify to display estimates in only days or hours?

When using the RTC eclipse client, can it be made possible to specify whether you would like to view by hours or by days, rather than it being converted to values like '1w 3d 2h' every time you enter an estimate?
It is difficult to work out what the correct estimate is, due to the current defect (62104) of not recognising the default number of hours per day specified by the project (eg. we have specified that our project has a default value of 7 hours a day, but RTC always converts the estimate into 8 hour days, regardless).

No that is currently not possible. If desperately needed, a normalized
format can be achieved by exporting a query result and choosing the
internal representation (milliseconds) for estimate values.

Hi Raewyn,
the bug that the plan wasn't honoring the project time setting got fixed

setting this value to 7 hours a day.

We completed enhancement 64641 (https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/64641) for 2.0.0.1.
This enhancement allows you to display estimates in hours throughout the UI, thus resolving the work day issue.

Hi - this is impacting me too, the work item was resolved as don't fix
so does anyone know if there was a workaround? Not that the manager is
unhappy about switching to an 8 hour day

I do still see Estimate data reported in weeks in work item queries.
Thanks!

What do we have to do to enable this new behavior?

Has this been fixed or not ?
I am using RTC 2.0.0.2 client against a 2.0.0.1 server and if I create a query - the estimates are shown in hours - but if I then export from that query to a CSV - the values all revert to entries like "1w 4d 3h" rather than what's displayed in the query results in eclipse "75 hours".
An earlier post in this thread alludes to setting the display format to internal such that it is displayed in milliseconds but I can see no obvious way of doing this.
What we are trying to do is export some work items into Excel to be able to perform arithmatic on the estimates.
Thanks,
Martin.

In the Eclipse UI export wizard, press 'Next' to get to the 'Columns'
page. In the table, you can choose 'Internal Value' for the estimate
field and you should get the millisecond representation.

Sorry for restarting an old discussion.
I do not get the milliseconds option when I export a query. Do I have to set it up somewhere
