Team invitation text is wrapped in MS Outlook

A customer contacted support with this problem:

Our company uses MS Outlook as our email client. Team invitation emails sometimes show up with the entries for the Project Area and Team Area wrapped, making it difficult to use the text to join a Team Area.

What is going on here?

This is due to a setting in MS Outlook that can strip new lines in plain text messages.
