Error deploying predefined process templates
Hi,
I am new to RTC. I am trying to create an initial project via the Project Area Management section of the Jazz server. When I click on the "Deploy Predefined Process Templates" button I get the error; "Error deploying predefined process templates to the repository. Please check your server log for more details." Does anyone know what the cause is here? Also where can I find the server logs that the message refers to? thanks Phil |

The server log would be, for example, the tomcat logs.
The error reporting in the web ui isn't very good. However, if you can create the project area from the RTC eclipse client, you should get a better error message. --- Ryan Manwiller Jazz Team |
I've also encountered the same problem with the following details:
Error deploying predefined process templates to the repository. Problem(s) occurred deploying process definitions. The "com.ibm.team.rtc.default" client access license policy does not allow the "com.ibm.team.process.server.saveProcessTemplate" operation. Any help would be most appreciated, Mark |
I believe the user trying to deploy process templates must be in the
JazzAdmins group and also have a developer CAL assigned. |
