Hi

What is the permission that will need to be set if a user needs to only submit Defects from the Test Case Results.

For e.g

  • User 1 will execute a Test Script.
  • User 2 will need to submit a defect by looking at the Test Case results

Regards

User 1 would need RQM permissions to execute test case and/or test case execution records (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.jazz.platform.doc/topics/c_qm_permissions_reference.html).

User 2 would need RTC permissions to save work items (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.jazz.platform.doc/topics/ccm_role_permissions.html) and RQM permissions to save test case results (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.jazz.platform.doc/topics/c_qm_permissions_reference.html).

Both users would need the appropriate RQM/RTC licenses (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.jazz.repository.web.admin.doc/topics/c_license_mgmt_over.html).
