determine value set of non-enumeration attribute (workitem type attribute) based on another attribute

Hello,

I see an example of value set of an enumeration based on another attribute that is not enumeration (link below). But is the reverse possible? Is it possible for attribute of type workitem? i.e Is it possible to determine a value set of an attribute of type workitem based on value of another attribute that is enumeration?
