[closed] CRRTC8500E: Server Error: Error encountered during check-in when shareing a root folder in sandbox explorer
Hello,
When I tried to share a root folder inside sandbox explorer, I got the following error.
This is for VS2010 to RTC V4.0.0.1 on Windows with DB2 V9.7 FP6 and WAS ND 8.0.3.
Any tip/advice?

Hello Frank, thanks for reporting the problem, we'll first need to look at the trace to see what went wrong. Please file a bug against Rational Team Concert with detailed steps to reproduce and attach the trace logs.

Hi Priyadarshini,
the problem exists not only in the VS client. We're faced it using the Shell, too, or more often. I have the .zip containers which where created while the error occured. I've opened a PMR on this and sended the .zips there as I'm not able to attach them here.
I hoped that there is an easy solution here which wasn't reported. That's why I asked.
Can you please give us the PMR number in that case? We'll try to get access to those *.zips from there.

It might be that some of the files that you are trying to share/check-in are locked by Visual Studio itself, can you please see if the tip at https://jazz.net/library/article/575 helps?
