unable to find report design perspective

Hi,

I have installed RTC 3.0 on Linux using Install Manager. After that I installed the BIRT plugins from  http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede/

• GEF: Graphical Editors and Frameworks > Graphical Editing Framework GEF SDK
(3.4.2)
• WTP: Web and Java EE Development > Web Developer Tools (3.0.4)
• EMF: Models and Model Development > EMF SDK - Eclipse Modeling Framework
SDK (2.4.2)
• DTP: Database Development > Data Tools Platform (1.6.2). Install all of the Data Tools
packages.
• Charts -- all packages

But I am unable to see Report Design perspective, even though all the above packages are installed.

Please let me know, if I have to install any other packages

Hi,

Ensure the installed plugins are available in your installation path.

Installation path may like this.

your installation directory/Program Files\IBM\IBMIMShared\plugins\plugins

After the successful installation:

installed plugin jars will be added into the plugins folder.

Ex. org.eclipse.birt.integration.wtp.ui_2.3.2.r232_20090122.jar
