FolderStructure programmatic
Hello,
I want to create programmtically work items, and it all works. But the problem is that all items are in the defects and enhancement folder and not in "top items"-folder. How can i fix this? How can i manage folders with java?
Another problem is, that I want to programmtically create folder and I want to create child folders.
Thx 4 your help

Hi
process spec) go into the top items folders. All others have to be
dragged manually. Currently, there is no API to do this programmatically.
Currently, there is no public API in the planning component.

All work item types which are marked as top level types (defined in your
process spec) go into the top items folders. All others have to be
dragged manually. Currently, there is no API to do this programmatically.

Assuming you are talking about the folders mode, this is not possible.

would it be possible create those folders on the database? .
No. The folder structure is saved, along with other meta-data, as xml
content. As we don't offer API and our tooling does not expect third
party modifications, I strongly recommend not to change that information.
