Unable to do Export To RQM Repository using RQMExcelImporter

Hi,

I have been  using CLM 4.0  version on my localhost environment of Jazz server.  I installed RQMExcelImporter Version- 1.0.4529.9380.   I am  unable to do  Export to RQM repository  because it says Ïnvalid Server name,User or Password"  once i put user name ,password and click to Validate button.

The same url https://localhost:9443/rqm  using my user  id  and password  work in browsers IE and Mozilla . Please  let me know why the same  credentials  is  not working in RQMExccelImporter.  How to rectify this ?

My Jazz server is also  running properly. Do i need  some other permission to from Admin  to  perform Export to RQM ?

Thanks-

Chandan

Hi Wan, I am using the RQM-Extras-RQMExcelWordImporter-4.0 only. But still the same credential is not working for both. Validate credential error message box comes.

what does the Mso2Rqm_Debug.log say? the log is usually in the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mso2Rqm"

I would like to drop a suggestion for Invalid Username

To download the RQMExcelWordImporter Add-in:

 http://ca-toronto-dl.jazz.net/mirror/downloads/rational-quality-manager/4.0/RC1/RQM-Extras-RQMExcelWordImporter-4.0RC1.zip?tjazz=p24ei35h3g6D70oADJv5N1Qo42o9S2

Pre-requisites:

1.            MS Office 2007

2.            MS .Net Framework 1.1

3.            MS .Net Framework 2.0

4.            MS Office 2007 Primary Inter op Assemblies

http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/1/d/e1df4622-5f6c-4fb9-845b-38d009cc1188/PrimaryInteropAssembly.exe

5.            Requires write permissions to file:

C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Mso2Rqm

To use Excel Importer in RQM:

1.            Data Administrator Role should be assigned to the User

2.            To assign this role:

Edit Project Area -> Overview -> Members -> <User> -> Process Roles -> Data Migration Administrator
