Creating RTC work item from a lotus notes document!

Hello,

I am working on creating a RTC work item from a lotus notes document. From the information i got this can be either using the Java client API or using OSLC CM. Can you guys please throw some light into this ? or is there any other framework that can help me create a RTC work item from lotus notes database ?
