RTC: 10 Developer for free licences - possibility to buy IBM support only?

Manuela Sailer (1134) | asked Aug 07 '12, 5:23 a.m.
Hi,
I'm from Business Partner ARS.
A customer of mine is using the RTC developer for free licences at the moment. Now he asks me if he can buy IBM support for those "for-free-RTC-licences" -
Is it possible to buy the IBM support only? Thanks!

 Hello,

Take a look here, not sure if there is a conversion of licenses needed.

Developer for Workgroups Starter Pack

A single bundle of 10 Developer for Workgroups licenses. Only one Starter Pack license (10 users) can be installed per licensed server or server group. It provides an upgrade option for customers who want to move from community support to 24x7 support. You can still add up to 50 RTC Developer for Workgroups licenses to the Starter Pack for a total of 60 users. The Starter Pack can only be installed on RTC 4.0 license servers.

Dear Sterling,

thanks for your answer!
With the starter pack you do not only buy the service but also the licence!
But anyway I suggested the starterpack to the customer....
One more question on the starter pack: The starter pack is available since RTC version 4.0 - is it possible to use the starter pack with 3.0, too?
