Can you change the default timeout for an RTC 4.0. Floating Licence?

Hi,
if a customer has two employes using one RTC Floating Licence: If one employee holds the licence he has to log out to return the license. If not it is going to be held for 120 minutes, right? See: https://jazz.net/forum/questions/51488/connection-timeout-and-floating-license So far so good - but can you change this default time-out? |

FORUM ADMINISTRATOR / FORUM MODERATOR / JAZZ DEVELOPER edited Jul 06 '12, 1:04 p.m. The default timeout can be increased (using the "license checkout time" property in the Server Advanced_Properties page), but it cannot be decreased. Note that there are a couple of reasons for this: - Decreasing the checkout time would increase the load on the license server - Decreasing the checkout time would effectively allow more users to share a single floating license, which would require increasing the cost of a floating license (to achieve flat revenue).
