DB2z throws the error message:

UNSUCCESSFUL EXECUTION CAUSED BY AN UNAVAILABLE RESOURCE.
REASON 00C900096, TYPE OF RESOURCE 00000304, AND NAME CCMDB
SQLCODE=-904

Why does this error occur? How do you fix it?

The NUMLKUS value is set too low for for the number of checkin files. Unfortunately there is no guidance on what value the NUMLKUS should be set to in this situation, but in the past changing from the default 10000 to 50000 has been enough to clear up the problem.
