IBM Notes ID is not supported in Asset's Email Feature

Email Feature in Asset page is giving "Illegal whitespace in address" error message, when we provide Lotus notes ids (bakiyaraj Arul/India/IBM).

It works, when we use IBM intranet email id (bakiyaraj.arul@in.ibm.com).

Will Asset Email Feature support Lotus Notes email id also ?

Hi,

EMail only supports SMTP internet addresses. It doesn't support Lotus Notes addresses because it doesn't have an interface into Lotus Notes.
