Basic dashboard question about work item viewlets

I am trying to add work item related viewlets to a dashboard. The choice
of queries I can use are limited to the predefined queries. I expected
that saved personal queries would be available on a personal dashboard,
queries shared with a team should be available on a team dashboard, and
perhaps a broader set of queries on a project level dashboard. Thanks.

Hmm. What you are after is exactly the intended behaviour. I'm not sure why you would be seeing something different.

Project dashboards limit you to the predefined queries, team dashboards allow predefined queries as well as queries shared with the team and personal dashboards allow personal queries, queries for your teams and predefined queries.

I just verified this behaviour on jazz.net on the Dashboard dashboard, one of my private dashboards and my profile dashboards. If you are seeing something different there must be some problem with your configuration or team structure.

The next day it mysteriously corrected itself. Not sure why...Jim
