setting Build status for RQM

We don't using Rational Team Concert as our build application but want to trigger test suite execution on the availability of a new build.

Is there any way to set the build record status via the API rather than the UI?

Yes, you could use the RQM Reportable REST API to update it, the api doc is at https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi, the RQM resources schema is at https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi#Detailed_Schema_Documentation
