RTC BIRT - data source - problem updating - BUG

Hello,
I created data source which uses WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT table some time ago.
I have created new work items and when I try to see them they aren't displayed.
When I create NEW data source they appear.

It shouldn't be like this that very time when I add - remove work item I should change data source .

Regards,
Marta

Hi Marta,
Can you please give more details about the problem you are having (exact steps)? Because if what you are saying was really a problem in RTC, none of the reports we ship would be working :)

Hello,
Yes of course.
I create in RTC client report and
1. connect to 'Data Sources' called 'Work Items' to WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT
2. I add new work item type in CSnext (new name, new id, new workflow)
3. when I try to finsh this new work item in data source 'Work Items' I don't see this newl create work item
4. when i create new 'Data Sources' called "Work Items new' I find this newly created work item.

How to force once created 'Data Source' to show updates?I have set in data source:
"new handler for each event" = false
"snapshot" = WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT

Marta

Which table are you using from WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT?

Hello,
It is TYPE table.
When I add new work item to the project values in TYPE doesn't update. When I create new Data source I can see this.
In quite complicated reports, this is time eating issue.

Hi Marta,

Can you please raise a Defect in the RTC Project area and attach a simple report design that replicates the problem and describe the steps to reproduce because the statement below does not describe precisely the problem:

It is TYPE table.
When I add new work item to the project values in TYPE doesn't update. When I create new Data source I can see this.
In quite complicated reports, this is time eating issue.

Not sure what you mean by adding a Work Item in TYPE.
