How to keep change sets in another component

Hong Zhang (11) | asked Dec 02 '11, 11:40 a.m.
Hi All,

We wanted to move a document to another component in RTC document source control. Is it possible for us to keep all the change sets and comments after moving to another component?

Thank you

Yes. The change sets are still in the original component, but when you
move a document to another component, a link is kept between the first
version in the new component and the previous version in the original
component, so you will see those earlier change sets in the history
(there will be a "gap" in the history graph, indicating the jump to a
different component.

Cheers,
Geoff
