Save Change Set Links and Comments (server)

Hi,
I tried to set advisor "Save Change Set Links and Comments (server)"
But I didn't got any change: user can associate CS to WI in Closed state.
Does someone use it?
Thanks,
Yehiel

That setting enables advisors to run on that action for that role selected in the table. You still have to add the advisor. Did you add the advisor "Restrict Asssociating To Closed Work Items"?

I added this precondition ("Restrict Asssociating To Closed Work Items") on my 'process configuration' of my 'Project area'.
Is that what you mean? Does it works for you?
Your answer is most important for me.

Did you check that the role you enabled the advisor on is the role assigned when testing the advisor?

I assigned the role for 'Everyone' role.
My question is: What RTC Version do you have? Does it works for you? if Yes, so what steps are you doing and do you sign the two check-boxes of the advisor?
Thanks!

I'm running the latest version.

Is the project area the owner of the component? The owner of the component determines which advisors run.

If you've set everything correctly, it may be best to contact support to figure out what's going on.

You right : The owner of the component was a user and not the Project area.
After setting the Component owner - the advisor works well.
Thanks!
