Cannot download Express-C Team Concert

I'm trying to download the Express-C Version of Team Concert, but constantly fail to do so. The download is always completed, but the file downloaded has always a different file size from 26MB to 177MB, but i never get the full size downloaded. When i try to open the zip file a error is shown saying "The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted".

What can i do to get that download working?

Thanks
daniel

Hi Daniel

Which version are you trying to download? the "zip" version or the "installation manager" version?

Whichever one you are downloading - try the other version (click the All Downloads on the downloads page at

https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/1.0?p=allDownloads

- that may be better.

Hi Anthony,

It was the ZIP version. I now tried the other version and it's the same. btw. the file is a zipped file for both versions. 1st dl was 6mb, 2nd 140mb, 3rd 146mb. It suddenly stops while downloading. << supposed to see the smiley :-)

Well, i will try the download from a diff location later.

Hi Jakub,

Good idea. I tried IE6, IE7 and FireFox. All with the same result. I'l try safari on mac when i'm home later.

So finally i could download all files, on my mac

The first try also failed, but while safari tried to uncompress the incomplete file, i could download them all in the meantime with no problems.

Thanks so much for all the help.

I can confirm that I have the same problems as described in this thread. I tried to download various Express-C packages, and they all stop early with incomplete files.

In another thread it was suggested to turn off anti-virus software. This cannot be an issue as I'm trying to download with Firefox 3 on Linux, without having anti-virus software running. I never have problems to download large packages from other sites.

Hi

Here was the same issue. Finally I got it by using FreeDownloadManager.
It's a bit tricky to set it up (you have to fill in your authentication
and give the "referral" value so the server knows you accepted the
licence).
It suffered several aborts but picked up the download everytime again
until it was done.

Firefox 3 alone was not sufficient.

Regards,
Stefan

So far I have noticed 4 cases where people could not download (and then asked on the forum). I know some people had better luck accessing via a different location, and using a download manager of some sort helped too.

I had the same problem with standard edition but once the Jazz team contacted me I was unable to reproduce the problem. Murphy hard at work again...
