hidden changes in changeset

Binu vm (611) | asked Nov 16 '11, 4:20 a.m.
Hi All,
I am facing some problems in changeset. I created new New Baseline for my project. After that when ever I do some changes and created new change set for those changes, the actual contents in the change set are not visible to me. It shows hidden changes. What could be the problem? How to make it visible the contents?Request you to help on this issue.

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure what you are doing. You should be able to change, check in and deliver your changes to a workspace and the stream and see the latest. How are you working exactly?

You will need to be more explicit about what views you are looking at,
when you say "actual contents are not visible to me", and what you mean
by "it shows hidden changes".

I created one base line. After that I modified some files,
those files are visible under Pending changes->Unressolved. After that I moved those files to the new change set. But usually before we deliver, if we go to the change set and expand we will be able to see the modified files. But in this case, When I expand the changeset, I am not able to see the modified files. Also in bracket near to the changeset's name it is showing changes are hidden. So the problem what happens is, others are not aware what the changes have been made. I am able to checkin and others are able to accept those changes. But because of changes are hidden, others dont know what contents exactly modified. Request you to help on this issue.

For performance reasons, the changes are hidden. You can show the changes by increasing the limit before changes are hidden. You can do this from Pending Changes' preferences (accessed from the view's menu or in the preferences under Changes). The default is 1000.
