Reporting Steps - Two questions

Michael Bunnell (6821819) | asked Nov 08 '11, 1:43 p.m.
When running a test script, is there a setting to skip the reporting steps? I may not have a full understanding of the reporting step, but my current client is viewing it as a sort of heading.

Also, is there a way to make the reporting steps stand out, such as coloring the step, or bolding it? Except for the small icon under type, there isn't a real visible difference between it and a execution step.

Thank you

Mike

The thought behind reporting steps is that they are steps who's results are more significant. While you may not need a result on an execution step, you would on a reporting step. With that concept in mind you wouldn't want to skip those steps.

All of the steps are rich text fields, so while there is no way to automatically highlight them, the editor does provide many ways to do you. The easiest would be to change the style.
