How to find ll WI that DONT have approvals

I am wondering how I can identify all defect/enhancement workitems which do NOT contain a verification record.

I can't seem to figure out how to query for that...

I have seen cases where desired queries where not possible, especially those where you would need temporary tables such as Not Exist(condition). there are some work items on Jazz.net about those topics.
