Not able to open project area in QM 3.0.1.1
Hi all,
I am using RTC 3.0.1.1 on RHEL 6 and using WAS 7.0. After Loggeing into QM, I am not able to open my Project areas. It is showing me following errors. You have successfully logged into Jazz Team Server but you are not authorized to access Rational Quality Manager. Hi Shruti,
this could have many causes. Do you have any user that can log in? If not, one issue I have seen with WAS very often is missing to configure the security and other settings correctly. You might want to look into the upgrade workshop https://jazz.net/library/article/662 as a guidance in parallel to the help at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1 . the document also contains a Troubleshooting Appendix where we collected issues we saw during developing the workshop. |
Hi,
I had already checked with security setting of the WAS they were configured properly. But the problem is still there.... Previously i was doing the same thing on Tomcat and getting the same error message.... can you please suggest me for Tomcat too.... because on both WAS and Tomcat I am getting same error message.... Thanks Shruti |

Hi Shruti,
is this only for QM? Can you log into JTS or other applications? If you can, this is probably rather related to the internal configuration. Is this a production system or a test deployment? Can you check the diagnostics in the server administration for QM and JTS? I would also look into the license settings, maybe during registration something went wrong. Last but not least, you should check the log files in Tomcat/logs or in the subfolders of the WAS profile for indications of what is going wrong. |
