Story shows up twice in the work item menu?

Why does Story show up twice as a choice of work item? Is there an old
config I need to get rid of?

Wildly guessing on my part: Maybe your process defines two different
work item types both labeled 'Story'?

Can you give more details?

Kai, I did a bit more digging and noticed the following differences
between a fresh 1.0 install, and our production 1.0 server that has
been upgraded several times (like every milestone since M2). Unless I
was completely asleep at the wheel, both project areas are configured
with the Eclipse Way process.

Work Items available on the fresh install:

Defect
Task
Enhancement
Plan Item
Retrospective
Track Build Item
Story

Work Items available on the upgraded install:

Defect
Task
Enhancement
RFS
Story
Document
Glossary Term
Plan Item
Story

here are all of the references to Story in my process config:

<type>
<alias>
</type>

<type>

<alias>
</type>

What's the best way to get this cleaned up? I'm hesitant to just start
deleting things. Thanks.

Bryan

Hi Bryan,

the requirements types are indeed obsolete, we are preparing a readme/faq entry for this, please see https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/57422 on how to remove the obsolete types. This affects only repositories that were created well before Beta2.

Christof
