Eclipse client can't use fully qualified domain name?
The 3.0.1 Eclipse client doesn't seem able to use the fully qualified domain name. If I enter in:
https://jazz.company.com:9443/ccm
I get a "CRJAZ6005E: Unable to find server jazz.company.com" message. Interestingly, first I get an expected dialog regarding the SSL certificates, so the client is connecting to the app server OK.
If I enter in
http://jazz:9443/ccm
the client successfully connects. I can cut-n-paste https://jazz.company.com:9443/ccm into a browser and login with no issue.
Has anyone experienced this? I can reproduce the issue on muliple clients and against multiple CCM instances.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click 'Create New Repository Connection'
2. Enter fully qualified name of JTS server (ex. http://jazz.company.com:9443/ccm)
3. Enter username/password etc.
4. Click Finish button
Thanks!

Yes, I get exactly the same issue.
Update:
I can't find any related WI for this, so I've opened Defect 179719 (https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=179719)
