How to modify the out-of-box Snapshot for RTC reports?
We've got hit by serious performance issue related to RTC reports which effectively brought our 4-core RTC server down.
Checking into the reports design, we found that our report designer has been forced to use Live Snapshot for most of the reports because a few fields that we use in the reports are available only through the Live Snapshot (Eg: FOUND_IN and Resolution Date). We undstand the cost to use the Live Snapshot which extract data directly from the active database instead of the datawharehouse, probably the biggest contributor to our performance issue. Can anyone share if you can modify the out-of-box report Snapshots like Work Item Snapshot to add the missing fields we need in our reports so we don't need to use the Live Snapshot and How to do it? |

Not without using Insight, with just RTC or RTC/RRDI you are limited to the out of the box ETLs and cannot create any custom data in the warehouse.
