Not able to archive a project area of Agile Process.
two testing project areas were created - one with Eclispe process and the other one with Agile process. The Eclipse one was archived sucessfully, but no permission error was displayed when trying to delete the Agile one. Any comments? Thanks.

Process permissions are configured on the "Process Configuration" tab of
the project area editor. 1. Right click on your project area and select Open 2. Select the Process Configuration tab 3. Expand the "Project Configuration" element in the editor and select "Permissions" 4. Here you will find the permissions for the "Save Project Area" operation, which includes permissions to archive the project. -- Jared Burns Jazz Process Team gdang wrote: two testing project areas were created - one with Eclispe process and |
With an unchanged 'Agile Process' only project area members with the
'project-lead' process role assigned to them are allowed to archive a project area. Given the error message, I suspect you tried the archive operation within the web ui. In the web ui we don't have the equivalent to the Team Artifacts view in the eclipse client. In the eclipse client you can you use the 'Why did this happen' link in the Details pane of the Team Advisor view to get a detailed explanation how the permissions where checked and which permission the current user is missing.
