I'm new here. I have such a task to do:

I need to access RTC defects programmatically to do the following:

1. Verify that all the required fields exists.
2. Make sure the data type (alphanumeric or datetime) is correct for those fields.
3. Verify entry method for the field (single select, multi-select, etc.) is correct.
4. Verify that the fields are required in the proper states.
5. For some fields (like state, close reason, etc.), verify the selectable values (closed, assigned, etc.).
The key items are 1,2, & 5.

I need to know how to access RTC Process Template in order to fetch a list of required fields for Defect, for example. Basically I have many problems with finding any API that could do this. Please help me, provide the code, if possible. Any hints would be strongly appreciated.
