RTC project areas : PA1 and PA2

Work items of the same type (for example defects).

1 - Search all the defects in PA2 which are linked to a defect in PA1
2 - For each defect in PA2 synchronize the value of some predefined attributes with the attributes' value of the corresponding PA1 defect.

More than 100 hundred work items to synchronize "on demand".

What is the best way to do this job ?

Using OSLC and developing for example a java procedure to do it ?
