Time taken to add a project

Mohammed Yusuf Essa (11) | asked Jul 25 '11, 9:32 a.m.
Hi,

I wanted to know if I wanted a project at a university, how long does it take to add the project JazzHub? I want to propose this to a few universities but I just wanted to clarify this upfront. Also, are there any restricitons in terms of licensing? or creation of projects?

Hi, Mohammed,

In order to participate in the JazzHub beta a user must request a project creation code by clicking on the link on this page: https://jazz.net/hub/manager/ JazzHub is being offered for academic use only at this time, so the projects can be used for classroom instruction or academic research. The user who creates the JazzHub project must be registered with the IBM Academic Initiative. This is easy and can be done from this website: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/university/academicinitiative/ All JazzHub projects are open and visible.

The actual process to create a project takes about one minute once the user has the project creation code.

Hope this helps,

Brian
