RTC 2.0.0.2 / Visual Studio Express 2010
I'm trying to get the final verdict if I can use the RTC Client for Visual Studio Express 2010. I chose RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix6. When running the Installation Manager, I'm getting the error that it needs VS 2005 or VS 2008.
Looking at the FAQ (https://jazz.net/library/article/601#Support_For_VS2010), the first question / answer states it is compatible since iFix3.
I could install VS 2008 probably to make it work, but that would not help my clients I'm trying to support that are using VS 2010. It is not a great selling feature to tell them to downgrade to VS 2008.
If you're wondering why they don't go with RTC 3.0.1 (assuming that will work with VS 2010), it is being deployed internally where RTC 3.0.1 is not currently available for another month or two.
