I have an existing ClearCase repositary (v 7.1). Can I integrate it with RTC 3.0.1 and extend it to use as part of CLM ?

Hi,

one option is to use the ClearCase Bridge in RTC to link change sets in ClearCase to work items in RTC. Please check with the Clear Case release notes which version of ClearCase is required to run the bridge.

In particular, for required ClearCase version information for the
ClearCase Bridge, in the RTC on-line help, open the topic "Known
limitations and workarounds for the ClearCase Bridge".

For the RTC 3.0.1 release, you'll see this information:

ClearCase Bridge to UCM and base ClearCase: CC 7.1.2 or later.
ClearCase Bridge to UCM: CC 7.1.0.2 or later.
Limited: cannot create associations; can view linked activities or
element: CC versions 7.1 or 7.1.0.1

Cheers,
Geoff
