Can you archive specific plans defined under a RTC project?

Hello - we create a plan for each release of our application. We only have the 1 RTC Project for our entire application team. Iterations are defined per plan and all iterations for all plans show up in the Iteration list when we are assigning stories and tasks to iterations. It gets very confusing for our team members.
Can you archive individual plans defined under a RTC project?
I have searched but cannot find how you can archive anything except at the high level Project level and that is not good for us because we only have the 1 project for our entire application.
Thank you - Kim

Hi Kim,
you don't want to archive the plans (since those only reference an iteration). You want to archive the iterations you are not interested in anymore. This can be done, at least, in the Project administration section of the Web Client.
Thanks,
Ralph

Thanks Ralph. I never use the WEB client but I found the link and am logged in yet do not see any "Project Admin" section. I am the development lead and pretty much help define how the team uses RTC. In the standalone RTC client that we regularly use, we have noone on the team marked as a Project Admin and it does not seem we are allowed to assign that access to anyone on our team. Do I need to get special Project Admin access to be able to see this "Project Admin" section from the web client? Thanks for your help.

CORRECTION! I am an administrator, separate window in the standalone client. But I still do not see any ADMIN section on the web client? can you point me to where this section is located in the web client? Thank you.

Hi,
I couldn't find the archive button for iteration in my Eclipse client (any more?). I think it was available where you manage the timelines.
However. At the top right corner of the screen are three icons. Right to your user profile (most left) you find administration and if you have at least project admin permissions (the LDAP group or selected in Tomcat) then you can select "Manage Project Areas" which will bring you to the administration section. You can pick your project area and select the timelines tab to go archiving the iterations.
Thanks,
Ralph

Thanks Ralph. It seems there must be 2 types of Administrators. Per the RTC standalone client, it shows me as ad adminstrator. But from the RTC web client, I do not seem to an administrator. That at least explains why I do not see these Admin icons you are mentioning. I now must pursue IF or HOW I can get project admin authority.
Thank you very much Ralph for providing me this info. If I can get project admin authority per the RTC web client, then hopefully I can pursue this archive issue.
Thanks again.

Hi Kimberly,
is it possible that you are administrator in the project (every JazzUser can be admin in a project) but are not in the JazzProjectAdmin, nor in the JazzAdmin authorization group?
If you are only in the JazzUsers group you would not be able to see these pages. You need at least to be in JazzProjectAdmin to do what you want.
Thanks,
Ralph
