Error during setup of Jazz Team Server

Chad Rotermund (611) | asked May 26 '11, 9:34 a.m.
Hello, I have trying to install Jazz Team Server on my box for a little while now and am encountering a road block during the configuration process.

I was able to Install the Jazz Team Server successfully w/out errors.

I am currently running through the setup process documented here:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_post_install.html

So far everything works successfully, using the default Tomcat/Derby installation and setup. I get to step 8, registering applications, and get an error trying to register the Change and Configuration Management application. (Error Attached at the end of the post)

It seems as though its failing to find the application, however when I go into the webapps directory in tomcat, the ccm directory is clearly there. All other stages of the installation have succeeded with the defaults. I was able to successfully create an administrative user as well. (confirmed by looking at the tomcat-users.xml file)

There are no errors in the tomcat console, however I do notice that it does not mention any deployment of the ccm app. I didn't know if this mattered, because there is no mention of deployment of the jts app either, but that is clearly usable as I am proceeding through the setup.

I also made sure I used a fully qualified hostname during the setup and was able to confirm this by accessing the setup on a separate machine.

Anyone seen this before/know how to fix it?

Thanks!

I was actually able to fix this problem. I deleted the individual deployments of the webapps inside the webapps directory (minus the ROOT) and restarted the server. It redeployed them, I reran setup and it worked. There must have been a problem in the initial deployment that I didn't see.
