Active Project Areas > Timelines & current iteration/
Hi,
I am trying to work out how to change the current iteration/sprint. The trail sandbox I am using is set up with the RTC default scrum template. In Active Project Areas > Timelines I see the following: ....|-> Main ........|-> Release 1.0 ............|-> Sprint 1 (1.0) ............|--- Sprint 2 (1.0) ............|--- Sprint 3 (1.0) ............|--- Sprint 4 (1.0) The current plan is 'Sprint 1 (1.0) '. Since it is 14/4/11 today, why isn't the current plan 'Sprint 2 (1.0) '? Is it a manual process to change it? How do I mark one iteration/sprint as finished and another as started so that when I go to Plans > Current Plans I see the plan that matches the dates? I'd expect this to be automatic - but suspect I'm missing something here. Thanks, Trudi. |

About two seconds after I posted this, I noticed the tiny-subtle-little icon that does the trick.
Its to the far right of the Defined Timelines tree. Application Administration (web UI) > Active Project Area > Timelines > Defined Timelines |
I'd still like to know how it is done in Eclipse though...

In Eclipse, load the project area into the project area editor, right
click on the iteration that you want to make current, and select the "Set as Current" operation. Also, there is work item 88813 requesting that the current iteration be automatically set based on the current date. If you agree this behavior should be supported, please add a comment to that work item indicating your interest/support. Cheers, Geoff On 4/13/2011 11:53 PM, trudiersvaer wrote: Hi, |
