Is it possible to undo the extract artefact command?

If not what would be the best workaround?

Hi Nils,

Extraction is a two stage process, first extracts the text as new artifact, then either inserts a link or embeds the created artifact, in the original artifact.

Now if you have not saved the original artifact, but instead press cancel, it will cancel the embedding or linking, but the extract artifacts will have been created. But the original text should still be in the original artifact.

The extracted text resource will then need to be deleted if it is not needed.

If you have saved the original text. There are two choices

1. Open the artifact history and restore a previous version.
2. Or you will need edit the artifact, remove the embedded artifact, using the embed context menu - right click the embed - and then copy the embed artifact text back into the original.

I hope this helps?
