using RTC for web site project

Franklyn Santana (2621) | asked Mar 20 '11, 2:31 p.m.
Hello people, hope you can help me!!..
At work we are learning RTC and we plan to use it for our projects. We develop web sites. So my question is: what's the best way to use RTC if we are PHP developers? The thing is, we need a webserver and a database to test our project. Every developer should have his own apache running in his pc? I mean, everybody should test his work before delivering it to the main stream, and if the web site will be tested on the developer machine, what configuration do we use so the apache server know where to find the local web site files?

Hi,

Do you use or did you try "Eclipse for PHP Developers" and the "Eclipse Web Tools Platform" (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools)?

These Eclipse projects provides all the features you need and, once your Eclipse environment is correctly set, you can deploy RTC on top it to provide the collaborative capabilities.
