Replacing icon (.ico) files

Brian Reynolds (1689) | asked Feb 08 '12, 1:06 p.m.
I was trying to replace the .ico files like JazzIcon.ico with custom files. For example, com.ibm.team.rtc.web_3.0.2.v20111006_1099.jar. Am I missing a step or are the icon files stored in multiple locations?

1. jar xf the specific jar files
2. update the file
3. jar uf jar files
4. restart server

Brian,

I don't think that is a supported mode of operation. You should use the built in capabilities to customize the process for custom icons. There is also a capability to change the theme.

I have never attempted to do what you tried, but I know that there are separate icons for different purposes in several packages. The icons sometimes look the same, but are used in different contexts for different purposes.
