RTC and Buildforge Build Label

Bryan Sarazin (1631) | asked Mar 14 '11, 11:23 a.m.
How do you modify the label at build time. For example, our BF project tag is called Project_02.00, our build definition in RTC is called Development_Build. When a build is executed the build label in RTC becomes Development_Build (<BF_TAG> as RTC Service Account) for <BUILD>. This is quite lengthy, is their a way to have this displayed as BF_TAG. This also applies the the snapshots created for the build.

Hi Bryan,

The format of the build label is not currently customizable by the end user.
Likewise for snapshots.

For related requests see:
113599: Support property to specify build label format
113600: Support property to specify snapshot name format

See the first one for a pointer to a workaround using the buildResultPublisher Ant task, which lets you update the label.
