Adding open social gadget

I'm trying to add a currency converter gadget onto the RTC dashboard. On the gadget page (http://www.gmodules.com/ig/creator?synd=open&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.donalobrien.net%2Fapps%2Fgoogle%2Fcurrency.xml&lang=en) I hit the "Get the code" button and I got the following:

Copy and paste the HTML below to include this gadget on your webpage.

<script></script>

And, on the RTC dashboard I clicked on "Add OpenSocial Gadget" link and I added the below link from the above code I got:

http://www.donalobrien.net/apps/google/currency.xml

I get the error in the viewlet:

HTTP Status 500 - The gadget cannot be rendered due to one or more errors: Content sections with type='url' are not supported

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Not sure if this is your issue or not... but this may help...
Regarding RTC 3.x dashboards accepting OpenSocial gadgets. Our support is currently compliant with the 1.0 spec but many of legacy gadgets on Google store aren't (they use a lot of old Google JavaScript code). As a result, they cannot run inside an RTC 3.x Dashboard. There are very few gadgets that do not use this code. We are considering adding the legacy libraries to allow more gadgets to work in RTC.
