problems installing RTC 2.0 into RSA 8.0

Hi,

i tried to install RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix5 into a RSA 8.0.1 as described in
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21444449.
(i used iFix5 instead if 4 which is mentioned in the TechNote)

I selected the whole "Rational Team Concert" category and clicked next.
Then i got this error: 
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

  Software being installed: Jazz SVN Support 2.0.0.I200905090340-2--77038GA6Or9ICUdUZJMVaQE (com.ibm.team.client.feature.svn.feature.group 2.0.0.I200905090340-2--77038GA6Or9ICUdUZJMVaQE)

  Missing requirement: Jazz CVS Interop Plug-in 2.0.1.I200909031824 (com.ibm.team.scm.client.importz.cvs 2.0.1.I200909031824) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.team.cvs.core 0.0.0' but it could not be found

  Cannot satisfy dependency:

The way i read this is that its missing the "Jazz CVS Interop Plug-in 2.0.1.I200909031824" component.

Should i try to use iFix4 as per TechNote? Any other suggestions?

I also had RTC 3.0 installed into the same RSA, but removed it once i found out that it doesnt work with 2.0 servers.

RSA 8.x uses eclipse 3.6, while RTC 2.x uses eclipse 3.4 so they will not be compatible for shell sharing

thanks for your response, but the fact that there are specific instructions (see technote i referenced) makes me thing otherwise.

seams like this was only a problem with iFix5. I just installed RQM 2.0.0.2 iFix6 without problems.

Hi,

I've the same behaviour, I even tried with iFix4 and iFix5 and iFix6, but always get the same error.

What I don't understand is why you are talking about RQM 2.0.0.2 iFix 6?
Is this a typo?
