Occasionally, I have seen on few machines, message like 'hidden changes(1135)'( after check-in the file (under pending changes view in Outgoing folder). Could you help me in understanding what are they and why does it occasionally appear.

Is this on the change set itself? It might be the preference set to hide changes if the number of changes is above what is set. The default is 1000 so changes to more than 1000 files will hide them for performance reasons.

You can keep the default limit to 1000. Whenever a change set in the pending changes view has more than 1000 and its decorator says '1200 changes hidden', you can simply select that change set and "Open in Change Explorer". The Change Explorer will show all the 1200 changes.
