Can users set a default project area?

Erik Bryant (2365) | asked Jan 05 '11, 1:44 p.m.
Is it possible in RQM to allow users to have a default project area set for them? Or even at the server level can we set what the default project area in the list is?
Currently we are working around this by saving the URL with the project area included but have had occasion where users selected the wrong link. Thanks.

Hi Erik,
No defaults right now but you may want to consider removing the users from the other project areas if they are accidentally accessing other project areas. That way those project areas will no longer show up in the drop-down.

Another option would be to have your users use the project specific URL that has the project name following /console

For example with a default project: https://<host>:<port>/jazz/web/console/Quality Manager
