Setting Up Jazz Team Server 3.0
I've downloaded and installed the Jazz Team Server 3.0 and have installed using the launchpad.exe and the IBM Installation Manager. When I attempt to run the Jazz Team Server, a Tomcat DOS window appears, displays commands that have been executed, and finally indicates that the "server is going to start in 109 ms"...the Tomcat DOS window is then inactive indefinitely.

A "Jazz Team Server" is what we call the server for a variety of the
Jazz-based products, such as Rational Team Concert (RTC), Rational
Quality Manager (RQM), and Rational Requirements Composer (RRC). In the
2.0 products, you normally ran a separate Jazz Team Server for each
product ... in 3.0, you can continue to do that, or you can run a single
Jazz Team Server for all the products. You would register with the Jazz
Team Server "applications" for each of the products you want to run.

Was there a solution provided to this problem? I'm having the same problem.
Hi,
This should not happen. Can you please provide the JTS 3.0 build details and the machine details (Like Operating System) on which this JTS is installed?
Thanks,

I'm moving forward with the Jazz Team Server 3.0 setup, based on the assumption that, what appeared to be a stalled JTS start up attempt, was actually OK...I opened a browser session and entered the following command https://<hostname>:9443/jts/setup. The browser displayed a "Loading" message, as well as a "Connected to <Server>" message, along with a blank page. I was expecting the JTS 3.0 Login page to be displayed. Any help-direction will be appreciated.
Hi Dawn,
the initial question as I followed the thread reading it from the top was answered with download the 10 Free CAL and install it.
The additional question should really be posted as a new thread I think and was not as far as I understand.
