Problem configuring RQM build integration with RTC
Hi, I am having problems with the build integration.
My versions are: RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix5 and RQM 2.0.1 I have it working WI integration with correct links between project areas in both products. After follow all steps detailed at: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rqmhelp/v2r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_config_rtc_build_integration.html I log-in first in a Firefox tab to RTC, then in a different tab I go to RQM and I get following error when I select RTC Project Area: <<RQM server can't set up the connection to RTC server, please make sure both the RTC user id and password for the connection are correct. You can reference more details in the help.>> Analyzing RQM log I see: <<12>> But I type that URL in a third tab of my browser and it works fine. Any tip? I read other posts in this same forums and followed also the advise to clean cache and cookies. I did it. Thanks in advance, Chemi. |

I'm quoting a section of the help document below. What user/pass do you have in RQM advanced properties at this section? These fields have default values ADMIN/ADMIN and it will give you problem if you have disabled the user ADMIN or changed its password.
I had the same error message until I replaced the values in all fields in the settings containing the value ADMIN. Set up Rational Quality Manager so that it can communicate with Rational Team Concert. |
I changed the default user/pwd to the new RTC Server Jazz Admin. But I
changed it just in the mentioned advance property in the documentation. I didn't perform a full search of all places where ADMIN/ADMIN appeared. Should I change it everywhere although doc don't say that? Thanks, Chemi. On 11/27/2010 4:38 PM, gabri wrote: I'm quoting a section of the help document below. What user/pass do |
You should change it in at least two places, in the "Build Integration Framework" section and in the "Integration Provider" section.
The rest of the occurences are for using a datawarehouse, i changed those too, but you dont have to in order to get build integration working. Did this solve your problem? |

I thought I changed it in both places... :-( I will do the change tomorrow and come back with the results, but it looks that is the reason. Thanks, Chemi. |
