Can't modify enumerated custom attribute on the web

Hi,

I copied the Links tab and Attachments section so I could add 4 custom attributes to that section. Two attributes are integer and two are enumerations. I can modify/set all 4 in the client.

I can see but not modify the enumerated custom attributes on the web.
The integer attributes can be modifed on the web.

Is the inability to modify enumerated custom attributes on the web a known problem or am I missing some additional step?

I am using 2.0.0.2 ifix 2

Hey Doug,

Never heard of there being a problem with a custom enumeration in the web- I have tried it and it works. Have you noticed that RTC uses different editor presentations depending on weather you open a work item of a certain type in the eclipse client, quick open in web a the full one in the web ? Maybe your attributes are not looking right in that presentation editoryou are testing in.

I have on RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix 2. I have similar problem in my RTC environment. I created 3 types of custom workitems. For one custom workitem type some fields do not appear in the RTC Eclipse client but all the fields appear in RTC Web. For this workitem type I couldn't find any difference with Editor Presentations or with Editor Presentation Bindings.

Thank You
NP

I have done more experimentation and have discovered what I think may be a bug in the web display.
The Links layout does not seem to support changing an enumerated value. I added Priority to every section (Attachments, Subscribers, Links) of Links and I could not update it. It shows as a read-only value. But I can still update it on the overview page. And it is update-able in the client.
The same is true for my custom enumerated attribute. It is read-only in the web in any section of the Links layout. The client is fine.
If I create a new tab and assign a Links layout, the attribute is read-only and again the client is fine.
If I change the new tab layout to "H", the attribute can be updated in the web. And of course the client is fine.

The Approvals Layout also displays as a read-only.

I believe the Links layout and Approvals layout have a bug.
