View toolbar icons/buttons missing in Linux Eclipse client

Strange thing. I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and RTC 2.0.0.2 ifix3. When I run the Eclipse client, I often don't see the toolbar icons in the view header. For example, the work items query results view won't have the icon/button to edit the query or refresh the result. The Pending Changes view won't have the icon to deliver or accept. I've tried cleaning the workspace, resetting the perspective, creating a new workspace.....I will get the icons to show occasionally, but not consistently. I expect this is an environment problem not the product. Any suggestions?
